Originally from Wisconsin, John obtained his bachelor's and MBA as a scholarship athlete before getting the itch to travel. He found his way to Hawaii in 2009, was married in 2012, and has called the Big Island home for over 15 years. After completing his undergraduate degree, John had his first experience in real estate with an investment property in Minneapolis. Over the next few years, he acquired a portfolio of properties and never looked back. He obtained his Hawaii real estate license in 2013.  Recently, John has developed several spec homes and condo renovations.

In his free time, John founded and runs a Nonprofit, Aloha Animal Oasis. He is also a fitness enthusiast, enjoys exploring every corner of the Big Island, and tries to live a healthy life. John, his wife, and daughter are avid travelers and have explored 50+ countries together. They currently live in Kona on 5 acres, where they have a ‘crew’ of rescue animals.
